💽 » Paul McCartney - McCartney III Imagined
rock, alternative • 11 songs • 47 minutes
I admit that I know very little about the solo careers of each individual Beatle, but it’s amazing how Paul McCartney continues to be extremely relevant all this time later. McCartney III Imagined is the companion album to McCartney III, released 4 months before. The “Imagined” version brings the same 11 songs previously released, but each featuring a guest artist, which sometimes takes the track to a whole new level. The best part of it is seeing big names like Josh Homme, Damon Albarn, and Beck in the same bag of more newcomers like Phoebe Bridges, St. Vincent, and Dominic Fike. It’s easy to say that there’s something here for everyone, which makes this the definitive edition of the album, in my opinion.

📺 » Emicida - São Pixinguinha
Emicida, one of Brazil’s biggest names in the hip-hop scene, is back with a great new single called São Pixinguinha, paying homage to Pixinguinha, who is considered one of the greatest Brazilian composers of popular music of all time. The video is a collaboration with the great project COLORS and sees the artist in their usual minimalist set with a predominant color composing the backdrop.

📺 » Tora - Call On Me
Call On Me is part of Tora’s most recent album A Force Majeure, which got me interested in listening after looking at the cool album art, something that happens a whole lot to me, and I’m so glad I did so! A deliciously perfect mixture of indie rock and electronic music that can fit in many different moods throughout the day.
