Shuffle Sundays #29 • A big announcement!
Hello and welcome to Shuffle Sundays!
So… remember a few weeks ago when I was celebrating my 25th issue and the fact that I was feeling pretty happy and comfortable with the content and structure I had created for this newsletter? Well, things are about to change a bit around here!
Starting next week, July 25th, Shuffle Sundays will be a publication exclusively about music, which was my first and continues to be my biggest passion. Every week when I curate content to bring here, music is always the one medium that I have more to pull from because no matter how busy I am, I will always be listening to more music than watching movies, tv-shows, reading books, and so on.
See… I have been secretly contemplating the idea of launching a second newsletter, that would be focused on music, but was afraid that not only they would be competing with one another, but they would also be competing with my own attention and creative energy.
So with that, combined with a recent change on my schedule that has been keeping me busier than before, I decided to put all the pieced together and transform Shuffle Sunday into the music-focused publication that I was planning to launch separately.
If music1 was your least favorite thing about my newsletter, I appreciate your support until this moment and will totally understand if you choose not to receive this moving forward. But if you choose to stay, I really hope you enjoy the new direction!
For now, this week’s issue is just an interlude in the shape of an announcement. I’ll leave you with the usual highlight of new releases, and will be back next week with the first issue of this new chapter. Thank you so much for your support until now, and I can’t wait to see you next Sunday! 👋🏼🎶
