Iβm a Notion -wanna be- user. Whatβs your favorite introduction/inspiration to get started? Also-- I enjoyed the YouTube video... some very interesting points... ie. creating in seasons and creating a large work. Cool stuff. Thanks! H
Hey Hal! For getting started with Notion, I think YouTube is your best friend. The official Notion channel has tons of great content, and I'd also look for YouTube videos from creators like Marie Poulin, Thomas Frank, and August Bradley, amongst many many others. I'm also happy to connect 1-1 and help with specific questions, if I'm able to. Notion has a steep learning curve, but learning it can also be a very fun and satisfying journey!
I love Notion for planning every week and yearly goals. I've been using it since august and I'm impressed by how it's constantly evolving. It's the first organizing tool that clicked with me.
"Fragments" by Bonobo - I have it stuck on repeat for weeks when I need to do some creative work. Thanks for sharing your focus mix. It will be my soundtrack for today π§β¨πΆ.
For some time now I've been looking for a good music-related book. I'll for sure hunt up that biography of Dave Grohl. I love Nirvana, and always liked Foo Fighters. And couple of months ago I really enjoyed "Watch the Sound With Mark Ronson" series on Apple TV+, where Dave was a guest in a "Distortion" episode. I liked it sooo much that I even wrote about it a guest review for the Salty Popcorn newsletter - https://saltypopcorn.substack.com/p/midweek-crisis-special?s=r If you haven't seen the series, I think you may like it a lot.
As always you've picked a bunch of new music that I haven't heard so I'm really excited to give it a listen today. Have a great start of the week. Sending you good vibes from Warsaw β¨
Wow, thank you so much for such a nice and detailed comment, Stygi! Notion is an incredible and powerful tool for sure, I love it just how customizable it is. Iβve been using every day for a couple of year now and it continues to amaze me. I know about the Mark Robson series but for some reason it disappeared from my radar, thanks for the reminder!! Hope you enjoy the focus playlist and Daveβs book as much as I did. Have a great week and stay safe out there!
Hi there, this is my first issue and thereβs so much to read and hear; I love it! I really appreciate the visual flow of information. Adding Bonobo to my library!
